Message from Chairman

Dear Members,

It has been a pleasure working with the local South Florida community for twenty years. Seeing the region grow in leaps and bounds, I have recognized that South Florida is blessed to have a diverse international community with extraordinary talented leaders.

South Florida's strength of being an International Trade Hub was recognized very early by the Europeans, were top European companies have established their Latin American headquarters in South Florida.

The South Florida Hub has the advantage of having locals from every country in South America, Central America and the Caribbean, with strong relationships and cultural understanding with their home counties. Together with the advantage of the freedom of doing business and the stability of doing business in the United States, we have just scratched the surface of our strength. Asian companies are only starting to recognize the potential of utilizing South Florida as a hub.

My vision is to bring Asia and the South Florida communities together. Inform and educate the business community in both regions about the opportunities of working together. The opportunities are massive and can only be a win-win situation for both regions. Most people are afraid of the unknown.
The first step will be to organize the Asian Committee to gear up for this new opportunity. I would like to invite the Ambassadors of Asian counties to come and inform us about the opportunities in their countries. Then for us to match local South Florida companies with Asian companies to do business.

I will be looking for motivated business men and woman to get involved hands-on. We will develop a business strategy with focus on interested industries and with countries that are motivated to work with us.

If you feel drawn to our mission and you are prepared to get involved, you are welcome to join our committee. I have no problem if you have your own agenda and want to utilize the Asian Committee as a vehicle for your business. That is what we are all about.
